AUTOMATIC METER READING SYSTM ( AMRS )
Automatic Meter Reading System (AMRS), in the EMRA's Regulation on Measures for Reducing Losses in the Distribution System, is used by TEIAS and distribution systems for the purpose of automatically remote reading of meter data, transferring data to a central system, verifying, filling in missing data, storing and presenting the data to the relevant parties. It is defined as the system to be established by the legal entities holding the license and covering the necessary software, hardware and communication infrastructure.
In the automatic meter reading system, meter data is sent to the central software with a modem using communication infrastructures such as GSM/DSL. Incoming data is processed with the help of a software. The software, which is set to the limit values determined by the user, sends e-mail and SMS to the users defined by the user, reactive and capacitive rates, power overruns, current and voltage imbalances, etc. automatically transmit. Thanks to the incoming notifications, the user can instantly detect possible electrical faults and imbalances in the measurement and compensation system and intervene.
